My Very first Parent/Teacher Conference Went Well

It really did. I was nervous. I just feel like people don't treat me very adult like. I can usually never think to ask questions like I should or feel I should. Or I can't think of the right things to say but I am pleased at how well things went. I am so glad my baby is doing good in Kindergarten. She got her very first little report card, it's so cute! Big day for us :)

A HOUR AN A HALF JUST TO GET PAINT!!!!!!

Really??? ARe you freaking kidding me???? No I am not, that's how long I waited at Wal-Mart today for paint. From the time I arrived at the paint counter with my selection in hand till I walked away with my paint. ARGH!!!!! I really do try not to get so frustrated with Wal-Mart as I used to work there & understand the goings on but this literally was sooo rediculous!
But we're getting there, my daughter is closer to her new room. It's going to be pink (2 of them a darker one & a med one) with pink glitter glaze. I hope that works, that is some spendy stuff, that glitter glaze!!! I got to do some cleaning of the walls yet before I can primer & hubby has to patch a hole. But we are difinitely getting there, I hope I do a good job :)
I was hoping to blog about my very first parent/teacher conference that I had today at Samantha's school but alas the head keeps bobbing, I am too tired!

I LOVE purple!!!! Practically eveything I own is purple! I've done 2 rooms in my house, bathroom & office/scraproom in purple with more to follow...hehehe
I've even bought things that I probably wouldn't have bought on spur of the moment just because they're purple.
Sometimes I feel like my purple obcession has gone a bit too far....NAAH!!!

Trick or Treating at cousin Tracey's

Samantha, staring out the door waiting for trick or treaters to come so she can hand out candy.

Auntie B brought her lil' dog Skeezix for a Halloween visit. The hat is supposed to be a wizard but he sure makes a good hobo.
The day started off with the Pumpkin Party at school. Samantha told me her fav part of the party was making ghosts out of lollipops & decorating cookies. I missed the room mom meeting for this one because I was sick. But it turns out the teacher only wants 3 moms per party anyway so we don't get to do them all anyway. I'll be doing Christmas & Valentines Day....so that's sooo cool!
Samantha had such a good time trick or treating at the local College Dome even though it's wasn't anything fantastic is was so well organized, she got alot of candy and we went with her lil boyfriend and of course she was pretty happy about that. She saw one of her classmates & told me she had a fun time. Then we stopped to TorT at a couple of relatives homes & then we came home to hand out candy. She had a blast with that! She would squeal & laugh everytime kids came to the door...she was like grabbing handfuls out of the bucket at first I thought we were going to run out of candy! lol......so I had to help pick it out of the bucket but she got to put it in the kids bags. AT one point, while waiting she opened the door & yelled at a boy crossing the lawn to "come get some candy!"
We usually go to our Mall for TorT. But it's just gotton so hot and long & people are always so grumpy...I've had enough!! But wow! This is the most stress free Halloween I can remember in a few years, everything went so great! Even Samantha noticed the low stress level. This morning I was so on cloud 9 over our wonderful Halloween experience!
But then today, well "into each life I little rain shall fall!" Samantha had dance & they were supposed to come in their Halloween costume. Of course I forgot! And we live across town so by the time I would have ran home & back she would have had about enough time to put the darn thing on & it would have been time to go....kinda pointless there. I feel so bad!!! Why can't I remember things???? I feel so bad making her feel bad & doing these things to her. I know she'll live but I hate to let her down. Big Mommy Guilt Gut :(

Or 'Bloggin In' as the case may be. So I come on to update my blog & error incorrect loggin. So I type my password slower & slower still, till it's one measly letter at a time very maticulously...click, click, click.
Finally dawns on me that I was missing a letter in my loginin name! duh, lol
