Lordy, Lordy...it's so GOOD to be Home!

So we just returned from Maryland from our vacation. Which really wasn't much of a vacation. I was telling Ron that someday I would love to have a real vacation..... where we can stay at a hotel, sleep in, not have any schedules or rushing to do everything on our list, some peace and calm and fun & just enjoy vacation. hmmm??!?!? don't know if that will ever happen but he seemed to think it was a good idea too and a girl can dream can't she :)

We talked about starting out with just a weekend....not exactly what I was orginally thinking. Buuut.... Now, I'm thinking Bismarck sounds good because I heard they have Ruby Tuesday. I ate there for the 1st time on our trip and Ruby Tuesday is now my ultimate fav restraunt!!!
Ruby Tuesday

Everytime we go on "vacation"...it's always to visit his family. Which of course it's good to see them especially for him being so far from them, I know he misses them. Especially after both his brother and sister died so young. But so yeah it's not vacation, it's just a trip. And we do try to fit "fun vacation type things" in too. Although Ron, Samantha and I seem to travel quite well, when we throw in other people....it doesn't work as well. I imagine it's probably the same for most people. And if it's not, don't tell me because I would prefer to believe it is..... I do live in my own little rose colored world afterall. But for as well as we do for just us as a family....we also tend to have more than our "fair share" of trip *Snafoos*

So my question is...How often do you/your family take a real vacation? One where you come home well rested and can't stop talking about all the fun you had??

I realize with most vacations there is that "agenda"...I guess that's just part of traveling. Ultimately why would one travel somewhere and not have any plans?? but I sure could use a real vacation.
